微妙な表現

Please think about the following.

かたいステーキ　　　　（hard steak）

タクシー料金　　　　　　（a taxi fee）

彼を（じろじろ）見る　　 （look at him）

Are thesr correct expressions?  No.  All of them are unnatural.  They should be;

tough steak

a taxi fare

gaze at him

Natural and correct expressons are difficult, aren’t they?

通訳者・翻訳者にさえも、自然で正しい表現というのは難しいものでは？
